UPS Freight. You must
be an employee of UPSF and be a non-supervisory person to be
eligible.
THE CARD MUST BE
FILLED OUT COMPLETELY.
Once we obtain
more than 51% of the people in any one location or district
we may by law present these cards to UPS corporate.
At that time UPS has the right to say that the people
in this location have spoken and there is no need for a
vote. UPS also has
the right to say that a vote must be taken in order for us
to be declared your legal bargaining agent.
In that case the cards will be presented to the NLRB who
will then conduct an election.
Common sense says that the larger our margin over the 51%
we receive the more likely it is that there will be no need
for a vote. Therefore
if this is what you want it is important to sign a card and
hopefully avoid the need for a vote.
Please remember that we are not like some unions.
We only want to
represent you if that is your choice.
Please notify us or the NLRB if you feel that you are
being harassed into making a choice one way or the other.
