Lifetime dismissal for any official considered by 2/3rds of the Board of Directors to have engaged in any activity detrimental to the reputation of the APWA. 

Every official in the APWA is subject to direct elections by the membership. 

Every pension board member is subject to direct elections by the membership. 

Each official earns ONLY 1 (ONE) salary no matter how many committees he or she sits on. 

No double or triple pension dipping. 

YOUR pension will never, ever be joined with any other pension. 

NO UPS employee will be required to become a member.  Membership in and contributions to the APWA are purely voluntary, only earned by the APWA through its good works. 

Employees who become members of the APWA may retire before we become the recognized bargaining agent and still be eligible to purchase our retirees insurance of $300.00 per couple. You do not have to continue to work if you’re ready to retire to be eligible for the better priced insurance.

Speaking of retirement, we consider YOUR life to be YOUR life. When you retire from the APWA the only thing we will ask you about your retirement life is where we should send the check to. We will not impose any restrictions on your pursuit of happiness.
Beginning with the 7th month as recognized bargaining agent, the APWA will cut your dues by 50%. 

Increase your pension; in some places by more than twice. 

Medical insurance that is among the BEST in the country. 

Face to face with your business agent because that person is required to regularly visit your job site as a prerequisite to keeping their job. 

Every APWA officer must have 10 years as UPS hourly employee to be eligible for any position. 

Except for personal info, direct access to the books without having to sue your own union. 

Member access and oversight. If the APWA doesn't stay honest then its members will have no one to blame but themselves. 

The APWA is operated SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY for the benefit of UPS employees.  This is the ONLY reason for its existence.
