If you are lucky under the new retirement plan, you will get to retire when you are 62. Most of you are young enough that you will not be able to retire until you are 65. Do any of you think that you are going to be able to do your job when you are that old? We know you will not be able to do it but the real question is WHY SHOULD YOU HAVE TO? You have paid enough into the pension plan that you should not have to work when you obtain 20 years of seniority unless you choose to do so.

When you are done surfing the site we want you to go look at that pretty girl or handsome man that has promised to be yours for the rest of their life, than ask yourself- WHAT’S going to happen to them if the unthinkable happens to you? WHAT IF when that little boy scores his first touchdown or that little girl scores her first basket dad or mom isn’t there to see it?

Hopefully you will have enough insurance to cover these most important possessions in your life. We are a family and we WILL see that if you have been vested there will be a pension for these very important people and WHY NOT-you have paid for most of it. The new union is a family and family takes care of one another.

All we ask is that you come to a meeting, hear what we have to say, then decide for yourself if you want to be a part of this change. In our opinion the way representation we have been getting is constantly going down, do you think the Teamsters is going to be able to keep your job when you are 63 and can’t jump into a package car like you do now? Remember, there isn’t room enough for all of you in feeders.
